Bought it from him and he included a surprise from his personal collection!

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Matchbox really went all out on the detail of this GT/CS! check out the GT on the fuel cap and that California Plate!

Kinja'd!!!

Can't go wrong with the whale tail Porsche either! I would love to tear this one down and wheel swap it with some of the 90's era HotWheels mesh wheels, with red paint and some detail work.

Kinja'd!!!

Figured since I was already doing a toy car shoot that I would throw in my two Foxbody Die-Cast's! My custom Daily Driver replica and the 1987 GT from Ghost.

Hmmm... Greenlights. I once got RAOK'd by the Greenlight staff, in 2010 or 2011. I can't quite remember the year, but it was the holiday season, and I my first collecting Greenlights, so I sent them a small happy holidays note, and the asked me for my address afterwards, so they could send some goodies my way.

I got a 2010 Dodge Challenger (Green Machine, #64 of 100), a Greenlight shirt, a bunch of stickers and a mousepad, which I'm using right now.

Oh wow! They have some extremely detailed stuff to be such a small scale. Sounds like they're an awesome company too.

That they are. Nearly impossible to find in Brazil though... And they could use some new castings too, they focus way too much on police cars, haha...

I may but I would then have to buy a corvette model and another drag-car model to fuse together lol

Yes, LS swap. For what my goals are, LS is the only viable option. Plus...I like a challenge

:( To each his own I guess lol I can't say much though because I'm still running the 4-banger in mine. Its got a 302 in its future once I get the disposable income to put my block together!

All engines are just air pumps and this particular pump pumps better than the possible ford pumps from that era.

Ford just built better housings for said pumps I'm assuming... considering how horrible the f-bodies are lmfaoo

And I don't particularly like the EFI engines of the late 80's. I'm building my 302 Carbed and I got a block from a '73 f100. Gonna slap a t5 to it and an 8.8 rear end and hit the street. I plan on being able to daily it after the build and I want between 300-350hp.

You are one of the few people who is realistic with the power goals lol. So many times I hear people say "yea it's gotta cam and headers so it makes 550hp now"

My 1985 GT had a 306 with AFR heads and a solid roller cam and single plane manifold that made silly high RPM power and was a blast to drive. It wouldn't pull hard until 4000 rpm lol. It had coil-overs, 5 lug, cobra spec brakes on 4 corners. It was a great handling car.

Holy Crap! You, my friend, had my absolute dream car (I know I have big dreams lmfaoo XD) with the t-tops and everything! This 4-banger I'm building is meant to be an 85-86 gt tribute and I plan on finding a dual snorkel Intake for my carb to complete the package.

And yeah I want a cornering monster to run an autocross circuit! I want a full Griggs racing suspension set up eventually (Thats where my overly ambitious plans come in) and keep the power mild enough to have plenty of go with minimal traction issues. And yeah I want a nice set of heads and to punch it out to a 306 and add a mild cam and a 4-barrel. Mount it to the t-5 and the 8-8 with 3.55 or 3.73 gears so it launches decent, but still has some top end.

But, I've gotta graduate and get a decent daily before any of that is logical! The 4-banger gets 24mpg when I drive the piss out of it and around 30 if I baby it, so its staying for a while.

Yea the t-top was nice to have. It had a demon carb and 4.10s which are too low for how I drove it. I really like 3.73s and 3.55s for good ballance.
